The Reviera Park is in the centre of Sochi and is its symbol. It has been founded in 1898 by V.A.Hludovyi-well known Moscow merchant and contains 240 types of valuable trees and bushes. The Tree of Friendship is an unusual tree, in other words, a real citrus garden with the same root and head. Italian lemons, Japanese tangerine, American grapefruits and other citrus ripe on this tree.
The seaport of Sochi is an example of the Soviet-era architecture of the mid 1920s. The central tower is surrounded with sculptures, symbolizing seasons and parts of the world.
Stalin’s summer residence located on the territory of Green grove is still painted in camouflage green color, as it used to be. No part of the interior design has been changed. One can see Stalin’s leather sofa and his waxwork, both are tourists’ favorites to take pictures with. You may also taste Stalin’s favorite dishes.
The Box-tree grove in the Khostinsk region of Big Sochi is an isolated part of the Caucasian State Biospheric National Park. The grove is as ancient,as mountains it is growing at. There still exist some species of plants which survived The Ice age. Only here you may see thousand-year-old yews and box-trees. There is a museum on the territory of the grove where you can find out a lot of information about animals of the Caucasian region.
The tower on the Akhun mountain was built with natural stone in 1936 as a collective image of Caucasian defensive towers. The tower viewing point that is situated at 663m above the sea level offers a lovely view of the main Caucasian mountain range, Cape of Adler and the central part of Sochi.
In the Utrish dolphinarium in Adler there are 3 species of the Black sea dolphins- Azovki, common dolphins and bottle-nosed dolphins. During a 45-minute show dolphins dance, sing and paint. You will definitely be full of energy and drive long time after your vacation in Sochi.
Baby fish of rainbow trout are bred in the Adler trout fishery. You have a wonderful opportunity to taste this fish in the local restaurant, as well as to fish in trout ponds.
Ancient dolmens – age mates of Egyptian pyramids – can be seen along the whole Black sea coast, but the majority of them withstood the ravages of time in the area of Big Sochi- there are more than 100 of them. Those hieratic constructions were made of huge stones 3,5- 5 thousand years ago in a form of card-castle. There is a unique one- piece dolmen in Lazarevsky region near the river Godlick.
The Vorontsovskie caves are a real maze inside of rocks. One can see 6 huge halls with natural lighting there. The air inside the caves is crystal- clear.

The Promepheus rock on Eagle rocks. Eagle rocks, known as White rocks as well, located on the right side of the river Agura. These rocks are covered with white limestone. Following the legend, it was just the place where Zeus arrested Prometheus for the stealing of fire.
